Meryl StavApprentice
Meryl began dancing at Meg Segreto's Dance Center in South Florida when xe was two years old and quickly fell in love with tap dance. She joined the Perpetual Motion Dance Company and performed all over Florida. Meryl received her BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Northeastern University in 2014. While there, she was an active member of NUDANCO, where xe choreographed numerous tap pieces. Xe returned to Northeastern for her MS in Bioinformatics and rejoined NUDANCO. Shortly after, xe joined DanceWorks Boston performing in shows twice a year. In 2017 she was asked to join Boston Tap Company, where xe performed all over the greater Boston area. Since moving to Boston, Meryl has had the opportunity to study under the direction of Julia Boyton, Sarah Reich, Caleb Teicher, Dianne "Lady Di" Walker, and Ian Berg. Meryl is excited to join Fourth Dimension Tap Company and show that people with EDS aren't limited by their disability.
